Laura & Barry

First and foremost, I consider myself a story teller. My heartbeat is to illustrate my clients’ stories and keep focus on what they wish to tell.

When I was first contacted by Laura, I knew she and her husband Barry were looking to get some photos taken to celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary. That in itself is an event worthy of recording through pictures.
But the joy of the session really was getting to know them and seeing how their love story has grown into something lovely and strong through the past 3 and a half decades.

They started out as high school sweethearts and never looked back. Their zest for life is exuberant – each of them recently made it a goal to be the healthiest they could be for themselves and their family, and their hard work and dedication has clearly paid off. The session was indeed lovely, and so warm and inviting – just like them.

The best to you both! May the next 35 years be even sweeter.

  1. Beautiful pictures! Would find it hard to choose which ones I wanted. Everything is natural and relaxed. Great photography! Could be a little prejudiced because they are our kids, but they both are beautiful people, inside and outside.

  2. We met them in the Marine Corps, all of us very young, but very sure that we had all of the answers in life. We quickly found out that we didn’t but we forged a friendship that has lasted all of these years. You have captured their relationship so perfectly! Such a mixture of grace, love, friendship, and “first love”! I wish we lived closer and could use your amazing talent!

    1. Your comments are appreciated and taken to heart since you know this couple so well. Come visit your good friends and look me up – I’d love to work with you and hear YOUR story!
