FAQ

How long are most sessions?

There is no absolute time frame for a session, although I do my best not to keep you more than an hour from start to finish. Newborn sessions can take much longer depending on the baby and his/her needs, so plan accordingly. Some newborns do not settle quickly and can take anywhere from 1-3 hours. Extended family and Graduate sessions typically last a bit longer than an hour to accommodate multiple family groups and for the graduates, multiple wardrobe changes.

How do you deliver the images to me?

Your high resolution images are delivered via an online gallery. From there, you are able to create a favorites list, share your favorite images with family and friends via social media or email, download your images to any device you choose, as well as purchase high quality prints from the store that’s linked to the gallery.

How long does it take to get my pictures back?

Unless otherwise specified, your gallery is delivered 1-2 weeks after the session date.

Am I allowed to make prints from the images I download?

Most session fees include the print release, which does allow you to print your images for personal use. This excludes prints made for resale or personal gain without my direct consent.

Am I allowed to bring a pet to my session?

Animals are not permitted to sessions held at my studio or outside property for a variety of safety reasons. If the session is being hosted at elsewhere, the same restrictions do not apply. Please ask me for further details.

Am I allowed to change the images once I receive them?

Altering the images in any way, including cropping or color filters, are strictly prohibited based on the copyright clause included within the agreement. Ask me for further clarification if you’d like to know more.

What if I don’t know how to pose or think I’m not photogenic?

All I ask is two things: Trust me, and have fun. And that’s in no particular order. I will give you the tools to look your best as we prepare for your session.
